The 40K Series Muffin Monster excels in wet and dry grinding applications. It’s a powerful shredder for large sludge processing systems. It also serves in many industrial applications including fish and beef processing, petroleum, pulp and paper mills, chemical plants, and recycling plants. The proven capabilities of the Muffin Monster are now providing solutions for the ever more stringent operational needs arising throughout the industry.

The Muffin Monster Manhole is customisable to fit exact site requirements.  Options include the exact depth required, inlet and outlet pipe diameters, top cover design and optional extras for the 30K Muffin Monster grinder installed in the manhole.

The automated Honey Monster septage receiving station makes managing septage waste easy for both the wastewater plant operator and the hauler.  The hauler just connects their cam lock hose and starts the flow.  Septage waste will pass by the SRS3000 Rock Trap before the Muffin Monster grinder shreds the debris found in septage waste.  Ultrasonic level sensors work with the system’s PLC to modulate the plug valve and regulate the flow into the screening area.  An auger screw and perforated screening trough screens out unwanted debris to protect downstream. Trash is washed, fully compacted and dewatered for disposal with JWC’s unique double helix compaction zone.

The Honey Monster is also available with the optional Monster Track system.  This option controls hauler access to the septage disposal systems and will provide data for accurate billing.  It provides unique identification of the hauler and tracks the quantity of FOG of septage waste discharged.  The Monster Track system can also monitor system levels and can alarm for unexpected pH levels in dumped waste.

This fully contained stainless steel fish cleaning station is designed for unsupervised operation by visitors in publicly accessible areas. It can accommodate multiple users at piers, lakes and marinas with integrated wash water wands and cutting boards.

These Monster sewer grinders are designed for installations in channels or for wall mounting in front of influent pipes within pump stations. JWC’s 2.0 Channel Monsters are also available with Wipes Ready Technologies.  These features are specifically designed for shredding wipes and rags.  The Wipes Ready technology includes a perforated screening drum designed to capture wipes plus cutters to shred rags and disposable wipes.

Channel monsters are designed to handle high flow rates at headworks including storm flows and still shred debris and rags before entering the treatment facility. This range of grinders is ideal for protecting fine screens and is even an alternative to course screens.

The Auger Monster screw screen is proven to result in cleaner, more compact discharge and lowered disposal costs, as less water and faecal material are sent to the landfill.

Firstly a Muffin monster or Channel Monster grinder tears apart rags, clothing and solid debris, enhancing the further processing by the screw screen. Solids are then captured by a perforated fine screening trough and removed by a rotating auger. As solids are removed, dual wash zones rinse faecal material from the shredding screens. The auger screen then conveys solids to the discharge point where the integrated compactor removes water before depositing clean dry material into a bin.

The Auger Monster screw screen is not just for municipal wastewater treatment plants.  Facilities around the world such as correctional institutions, hospitals and other facilities that need to remove solids from their sewage waste streams have been relying on Auger Monsters spiral screens for many years.

An In-Channel auger screen is also available without a grinder for situations where there are limited rags and no large solids in the waste stream.
